At the doorstep of our full membership in European union we see the future of Haskovo region like a region with high and stable economical development, low percent of unemployment, high living standard, preserved culture and clean environment.

This vision forms the basis of  the Regional strategy for development from 2005 to 2015 year.

In it we set the aim to achieve high quality living standard, to improve business conditions, to build european type infrastructure while conserving environment and to quicken the process of joining the EU.

That’s why the major challenges and priorities in our everyday activities are supporting the economical development, competitive power and social convergence.

With management politic, which we using, we are trying to ensure effective usage of European funds and to attract foreign investors in region which will open more jobs, thus lowering the unemployment rates.
